CHRISTMAS FAYRE
This year’s Christmas fayre will be held on Saturday the 27th November at St. Mark’s Church between 9.30am and 12noon. This community event is always a great success socially and financially due to our amazing team of co-ordinators and helpers who assist before, during and after the event, but we always welcome more. If you are able to help after the Mass on the Friday moving benches and erecting stalls, and/or on the Saturday selling raffle tickets or helping to run stalls, make and serve teas or clear away afterwards then please sign the list at the back of the church. Even if you can only spare a half an hour, we would be very grateful. Raffle tickets will be on sale after the Mass from November 2nd and 3rd until 12noon on the day itself so if you can’t help in any other way, please buy some, we always have some brilliant prizes including a hamper. Tickets are £1 a strip. Donations for prizes will be welcome and we also need bottles (full of alcohol preferred!) for the bottle stall, items for the gift and jewellery stall and tombola, good quality toys, CDs and DVDs and as new books but no clothes please. Feel free to speak if you want any further information.

Mr Edwin Edwards has been appointed as chair of the Parish Finance Committee. We wish him well in his new role.
